Serving high profile clients for film, television and print,
Katherine needed a sophisticated, eye-catching identity program. The tasteful
minimalism and clean lines associated with the fashion industry guide this
design. The multiple colored ellipses, a variation on the artist's color palette,
hint at Katherine's wide spectrum of clients.

Kardia Press’ line of “Radical Grace” greeting
cards target high-school to college-age
Christians. In order to engage this audience
the cards must carry a message and style that
speak to young Christians and break away
from the stereotypical style of inspirational
greeting cards.Kathleen Rambo, founder of Kardia Press
provides Plan 9 with each cardŐs message.
We first researched contemporary graphic
styles and colors. With these styles in mind,
illustrations were created that bring those
messages to life.

The book, Sewing the Seeds of Success,
chronicles the story of a small group of
women breaking into the male dominated
halls of business and paving the way for others
to follow. The image of a feminine symbol, the
flower, literally shaking up and bursting onto
the business scene inspired the first design. A
more literal approach was taken with second
the concept, using furrows and a sprouting
money plant.

This art was framed and presented to a Neiman Marcus employee
as a retirement going away gift. It commemorates her work organizing Neiman's
Fortnight event, an in-store showcase of fashion and artistic achievements
from around the world. Fortnight posters arranged chronologically and images
from Neiman Marcus' past convey a timeline-like feel to this piece.
