LSG Sky Chefs
From their website: "When it comes to culinary excellence onboard, our broad network and cultural diversity ensures our customers have the edge in passenger satisfaction. Moreover, our internationally-trained chefs lead the way in innovation, both in the air and on the ground. They design menus with the quality, detail and authenticity that meet the standards of the most selective palates, while being sensitive to local trends, ingredients and flavors."
Tasting Menu for Virgin Airlines Event
LSG Sky Chefs hosted an event to introduce Virgin Airlines to a variety of new in-flight menu ideas. This menu, along with other materials were delivered in a polished aluminum box, secured by a corset. I took the corset idea and ran with it, giving this invitation a sensuous, racy feel, without taking it over the top. Silhouettes were used instead of full color photos to add an air of mystery.
LSG 10 Year Anniversary Party
LSG wanted their Anniversary theme to recognize all 6 of their North American hubs: Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago, Seattle, Georgia and New York along with each these area's distinctive cuisine. This reminded me of a blended wine, thus, a wind bottle served as an anchor for the overall theme.
LSG 10 Year Anniversary Party part 2
LSG headquarters in Germany can be quite strict about adhering to brand standards. The initial wind bottle idea was nixed in favor of a style that more closely conformed to the feel of the LSG Sky Chef logo.
Alaska Airlines Event Invitation
Alaska Airlines makes a point of using seasonal, organic and locally sourced foods whenever possible. LSG SKy Chefs, sponsored this workshop in order to introduce menu options which focus on those three qualities. Symbols connoting each of the four seasons compose the illustration. A rendering style seen in Inuit folk art builds a strong tie to the state of Alaska. This illustration appeared on the front of the workshop invitation, as well as the menu and other materials used during the event.
US Airways Event Invitation
US Airways being based in Arizona, LSG requested that I use the unique elements of the Arizona landscape in the illustration for this invitation.
Buy On Board Forum Invitation
"BoB" an acronym of "Buy on Board", conjured visions of the prototypical 50's businessman, thus, a retro travel feel was used to go along with the client's request to employ a passport in this e-vite.
Plan 9 created newsletter templates for LSG's three American regions. The templates use the gear theme created by Plan 9 which designates the four aspects of their business: People, Operations, Customers/Markets, and Finance.
